.38 FEET.

so, i spend my Sundays behind a fence............watching this.  

And, it's AWESOME!!! I cannot explain the feeling and emotion that occurs watching my little man throw those 38 feet....

It's 38 feet in this division, from the mound rubber to the strike zone.

This year Nicholas moved up a division in baseball...from Shetland to Pinto, and it's been tough....there were a LOT of changes:  new coach, (ummm awesome coach BTW), scoring, 

3 strikes and "YOU'RE OUT", kid pitching, a new field and then there is that small little "protective" piece of equipment that must be worn for safety....and really, the list of changes for Nicholas this year could go on......BUT  in moving up to a division that has "kid pitch, his coach has been playing him in the pitching position, and WOW what a cool spot to be in...and Nicholas LOVES it!!!  We are really, really fortunate to have such great coaches, and great team players.

(yes, i am a bit proud)

so, nonetheless, this is my Sunday Post for the week...

Amor.....yes for sure....aren't they a beautiful couple.  They are getting married in Napa in a couple of months and needed some great photos for their invitations.  We had such an amazing time in Laguna photographing them.  They only needed a
"couple photos", but UGH I couldn't help get carried away ;)

.Emery.

This is the Emery family and I had the pleasure of photographing them. They recently put their heart and soul into their backyard, to create a family-oriented environment for their boys to enjoy, and to spend time together. I must say there was not a better location choice for their family session!!!! Their backyard is GORGEOUS...It suited their personalities perfectly and made an awesome family afternoon!!! These are just a couple teezers for them. Their entire session came out awesome and I can't wait for them to see their entire session album!!!!

Lake Hills Elementary | .NO EXCUSES UNIVERSITY.

Lake Hills Elementary School is the school that my son, along with many other children in the Alvord Unified School District, attend.

The principal of Lake Hills Elementary supports a "No Excuses" program and it is amazing, fun, and exciting for the students. There is a constant BUZZING of college around the school yard.

Each classroom at the school is adopted by a different college, and that college flag is displayed outside the classroom doors as well as inside the room. The students are reminded that there are "no excuses" when it comes to education. The program teaches students that schooling does not end after high school, but that college is simply the next step you take to continue education for a better and brighter future. The teachers and staff at Lake Hills Elementary are unbelievable. They represent top notch dedication to the student's education and encourage them to go beyond the minimum, and to pursue the maximum.
These are just a few of the students who will be the first graduating class involved in the "No Excuses" program in the year 2020......The principal has such a great sense of honor and we wanted to capture just a few images so that so she could display that honor.
I am incredibly proud to be able to say that the class of 2020, as well as the classes to follow will go far and pursue the ultimate in education to build a great future.

Milano Photography was very very proud to have captured the wedding of Heather and Justin. This wedding was beautiful. The ceremony and reception were held at the Harborside Restaurant in Balboa. Heather and Justin are an AMAZING couple and their love is meant to last a lifetime.

.Anticipation.

I had an impromptu maternity session last week, with Jessica. She is just one of those women that looks gorgeous while waiting for her precious little one to arrive. And on top of her beauty, she is super sweet. I was actually doing headshots for Curtain Call Performing Arts in Corona, and I absolutely could not resist a mini-maternity session especially since I was already set up and ready to go. So, they found some fabric, we got her all situated, and VOILA!!!!

.Enriquez Children.

I had such a pleasure meeting and spending the morning with the Enriquez children :) You would NEVER know they don't like having their photograph taken.......Seriously, look how ADORABLE and GORGEOUS they are!!!! They are very very sweet kids and I am soooo happy I got to photograph them.
