Mia and Daddy....

This turned out totally cute. We attempted a "family picture" over the past weekend. HA HAHA is all I can say. I have discovered that being a photographer doesn't always mean getting pictures of my own kids :) And boy am I lucky I don't have my own kids for clients.....:) Nicholas is TOTALLY CAMERA SHY....he likes the idea of having a mommy for a photographer, but any little sessions with him....FORGET IT. He gets so upset, poor little guy. But, Mia, she loves our little mini-sessions, and she LOVES her DADDY even more......I did get some sneaky one's of my little man, so perhaps I can get up at least one:)

The Milanos

I photographed Jimmy, Michelle, Delaney and Kendall Milano, this past weekend. Our cousins, and very, very good friends. These girls came complete with "giggles and smiles" And Mom and Dad weren't too shy either!!!! This is another family that is just awesome. Totally committed to being together and having fun. As you can tell by now, I am just so proud to be part of such an amazing family!!!!

The Aungst Family

I photographed the Aungst family last weekend.....this is actually my sister-in-law and her beautiful husband and children. I am an only child, and when I came into this family, I gained so much. This family is unbelievably AMAZING. Tim and Lisa and these kids are a huge part of our lives. My children are growing up with these kids, and how lucky are my husband and I to have such phenomenal role models for our children. My heart overflows with friendship and respect for Tim and Lisa. I couldn't have ever had a sister that means more to me than my sister-in-law.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them and the extended Aungst. Tim lost his father to cancer, just yesterday.
Tim and Lisa, thank you for always being there for us and the kids~

One Beautiful Girl

This is one Beautiful Girl!!!!!! This is Alena Ford and isn't she something else. We photographed some great shots of her during the Ford Family session. I think she could be a model. And I just have to add that she is personality ALL THE WAY!!! Just a super young lady all the way around.

Cards, Cards, Cards.....!!!!!!

Ford Family

I photographed the Ford Family last week. Does anyone remember Kellen? This is his family. They are soooooo awesome!!! This family brings new meaning to the word "relaxed"!!! They came down to the beach and just basically enjoyed their afternoon. What a great family and their photographs have come out so beautiful. I can't wait to book their proofing appointment!!! Perhaps I will just have to put up a couple more teezers :)

Our Student of the Month!!!!!!

We are so incredibly proud of our son. He was student of the month in his Kindergarten class at Lake Hills Elementary. We are loving the curriculum at this school and the teachers are AWESOME. Our son works very hard at being a good 5 year old, and it is paying off. Even though we know "boys can be boys" :) There are days, when my children just simply bring tears to my eyes. They don't even have to do anything special!! I just love them. That is probably the biggest reason I became a photographer. I spent OODLES of time trying to stop the clock and capture their every fleeting moment, but to no avail, here we are at 3 and 5. Now, I share that gift with my clients so that they can see what I see behind the lens :)
