It's been a few weeks since I posted into the Sunday Post spot, so I thought these were appropriate for today and I could introduce the latest member of our family, LUKE. It's very rare I can capture stolen moments from my son, but he was sooooo excited to get this new little guy into our family that he let me take a few....Luke and Nicholas are the best of buds, it's so awesome to watch Luke follow him around like his best pal. It's your typical "boy and his dog" relationship......We Love it, and we have had such good luck with this little guy he is an amazingly good puppy :)

I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie pie for some 2-year portraits.....she is soooooo dang cute and she's got the cutest little personality to match....we spent some time on location then met up a few weeks later at their home to finish up our session for some Lifestyle Portraiture.....(which I will previewing some of those as well) I am getting ready to order this families proofs, and as you all know, I have a habit of posting as I order, so keep checking back and you can see some more of this cute-patoot....Thank you to the Lopez family for being willing to have their session on location....it was super fun and the location was perfect.

Okay it's taken me forever to get these previews up for them, and I'm sooooo sorry they had to wait. But, the truth of the matter is I just thought the ENTIRE engagement session was sooooo much fun that I have had a hard time choosing. I have fine tuned it down, so I can order some proofs and post the previews....Kris and Ricky were engaged down in Santa Monica, and visited the
Santa Monica Pier quite often. This was a PERFECT place for their session since it had significant meaning to their awesome relationship. We arrived there and they were completely prepared for what was to come....YEP UP UP and UP they went on that GINORMOUS Landmark of a ferris Wheel!!!! Oh and I couldn't help but ask their willingness to jump on that SCRAMBLER!!!!
LOLOLOL anyone ever ridden that thing....it is a total crack up and I was in tears with laughter watching them.....This session was a total blast, and the two of them were completely open to lots of shooting options......thank you to you both for playing....it was soooo worth it ;)

Sunday Post {Milano Photography}

{Five}

Well...it's been some time since I sat down and submitted a Sunday Post. I had to take some time out today and look back at our trip to Disneyland for Mia's 5th Birthday. I find that I get so preoccupied with work, which I absolutely love BTW, but I do forget to remember what started my photography in the first place.... capturing my ever-so-quickly growing kiddos, or trying to catch and savor their every darn moment. So needless to say, I had to take a moment and reflect on them and give some hugs and kisses......When I look at them, I just loose my breath at their innocence and youth. They are truly a gift and a blessing to me.....
We had a super time that day...and Nicholas, who we thought would never enjoy Disneyland, but begged us to go because he wanted to be with Mia on her birthday (AWWWWWW sweet huh?) actually had a great time and went on all the rides he would normally say "No Way" to. But of course, NO PHOTOS for him....I guess I am just happy he had a good time....



First thing's first, a birthday hat and goodies!!!! and some hat help from Nicholas (My FAV)






Grandma went with us and treated us to a lunch with the princesses.....;)
