"Is Two"

I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie pie for some 2-year portraits.....she is soooooo dang cute and she's got the cutest little personality to match....we spent some time on location then met up a few weeks later at their home to finish up our session for some Lifestyle Portraiture.....(which I will previewing some of those as well) I am getting ready to order this families proofs, and as you all know, I have a habit of posting as I order, so keep checking back and you can see some more of this cute-patoot....Thank you to the Lopez family for being willing to have their session on location....it was super fun and the location was perfect.
I have been receiving inquiries regarding promoting the free prints for comments, so we are back to giving away free prints based on comments received, so after you view feel free to write a little something so we can give away our prints :)

Henry Family {Milano Photography}

Remember the Henry Family from awhile back?  Well we decided to reschedule the family part of their session, and I am soooo glad we did :)  The location they chose was AMAZING!!! A super great park in Mission Viejo.  I highly recommend taking a trip over there, it is just gorgeous.  Plan to spend an afternoon, 'cuz there is lots to see.....The Henry kids did a great job with their session and we were able to get some really great photos...

.Emery.

This is the Emery family and I had the pleasure of photographing them. They recently put their heart and soul into their backyard, to create a family-oriented environment for their boys to enjoy, and to spend time together. I must say there was not a better location choice for their family session!!!! Their backyard is GORGEOUS...It suited their personalities perfectly and made an awesome family afternoon!!! These are just a couple teezers for them. Their entire session came out awesome and I can't wait for them to see their entire session album!!!!

"I Wanna Be Like You"

"Dream On"Whew, I know I have been neglecting my blog but it has been for good reason :)
My little one had her first dance recital last weekend. Myself and another parent volunteered for the room mom job. I have to just say I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience the day with my daughter. The girl's were AWESOME!!! Very very patient and well-behaved!!! Her class's dance was based off "The Jungle Book"and the entire class of 4-year old's did a fantastic job of performing for such a big audience. I am very impressed with the studio's classes, techniques, and their organization of the production. Congratulations to Dellos Dance for all their hard work and progress. I also wanted to mention my son had his Corona Pony All-Star Game that morning as well, and he played a GREAT first baseman. But, if any of you know me at all, by now, then you know getting pictures of my 6-year old is like ....FORGET IT!!!! So I just have to comment on how proud of him I am.

C-A-T-C-H-E-R!!!!!!

My Son....Finally!!!!

And of course I couldn't resist a quick post of Nicholas playing catcher.
This is the only way I get photos of him anyway :)
I was so excited at this weekends Corona Pony Game. My son FINALLY agreed to play Catcher.
I was so proud of him. He tagged THREE little guys coming into home...Whoooo Hooooo. I even caught him smiling. (I think he actually likes it!) We are so proud of him. He LOVES this game....Honestly, he's just a super sweet, very good natured boy....but I am a little bias :)

Mia and Daddy....

This turned out totally cute. We attempted a "family picture" over the past weekend. HA HAHA is all I can say. I have discovered that being a photographer doesn't always mean getting pictures of my own kids :) And boy am I lucky I don't have my own kids for clients.....:) Nicholas is TOTALLY CAMERA SHY....he likes the idea of having a mommy for a photographer, but any little sessions with him....FORGET IT. He gets so upset, poor little guy. But, Mia, she loves our little mini-sessions, and she LOVES her DADDY even more......I did get some sneaky one's of my little man, so perhaps I can get up at least one:)

Our Student of the Month!!!!!!

We are so incredibly proud of our son. He was student of the month in his Kindergarten class at Lake Hills Elementary. We are loving the curriculum at this school and the teachers are AWESOME. Our son works very hard at being a good 5 year old, and it is paying off. Even though we know "boys can be boys" :) There are days, when my children just simply bring tears to my eyes. They don't even have to do anything special!! I just love them. That is probably the biggest reason I became a photographer. I spent OODLES of time trying to stop the clock and capture their every fleeting moment, but to no avail, here we are at 3 and 5. Now, I share that gift with my clients so that they can see what I see behind the lens :)

Midway Tour & F18 Hornet Practice

As most of you know, we spent a week down in San Diego. My hubby and my son LOVE the air crafts and anything related. I am posting these for him, so he can share. These are a couple of pictures I took down there. We took a tour of the Air Craft Carrier, the Midway. Nicholas diligently listened to the audio tour with his headphones, they are so big on his little ears!!!! While we were at Coronado Island, we got a surprise air show of some F18 Hornets. (Luckily I was camera-ready!!!)
